What's the difference between this and the Media Collage tool?
Same engine, different layout. Media Collage is a fixed grid (2x2, 3x3, side-by-side, etc.). Picture-in-Picture is freeform — drag and resize each cell independently. Both export the same MP4/WebM/PNG.
Can I add more than two overlays?
Yes — use the 'Add overlay' button to stack as many as you want. Click a box to bring it to the front.
Does this upload my videos?
No. Picture-in-Picture runs entirely in your browser via Canvas + MediaRecorder. Your files never leave the device.
Why does my recording have no sound on iPhone?
iOS Safari doesn't implement HTMLMediaElement.captureStream(), so the audio track can't be captured for the recording. Use Chrome or Safari on desktop for audio.
What output formats are supported?
Video: MP4 (H.264) or WebM, depending on your browser. Image: PNG. Pick from social-media presets like Instagram Story, YouTube thumbnail, HD landscape.
