AI Story Generator

Browser + Server

Type a prompt. Get 5 distinct story ideas — each with logline, protagonist, conflict, and twist. Pick one and turn it into a 15-second video scenario with three timed beats: visual, narration, and caption per beat.

How It Works

1

Describe a story

Type a one-line prompt — a character, a setting, or a what-if. Pick a genre, tone, audience, and language.

2

Pick from 5 ideas

The AI returns 5 different angles on your prompt as cards: title, logline, protagonist, conflict, and twist.

3

Get a 15s scenario

Click any idea to expand it into a 15-second timeline: 3 beats × 5s, each with a visual prompt, narration, and on-screen caption you can hand off to text-to-image, text-to-speech, or the Book Trailer Maker.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this story generator free?

Yes. 100% free, no signup, no credit card, no hidden limits. The AI runs in your browser when WebGPU is available, with a server fallback for older devices.

Why 5 ideas instead of one long story?

Most prompts can go in many different directions, and a single long story locks you into one of them too early. Five distinct loglines give you something to compare and choose from — picking is easier than starting from scratch.

What is the 15-second scenario?

Once you pick an idea, the tool turns it into a 15-second vertical-video plan: 3 beats of 5 seconds each (setup → turn → reveal). Each beat has a visual prompt (ready for an AI image tool), a narration line (≤12 words, fits a 5s read), and a 6-word on-screen caption.

Can I generate the actual video?

Yes — but in two pieces. Every idea card has a 'Show protagonist' button that generates the character portrait inline, and every beat has a 'Generate visual' button that renders that frame inline (both via FLUX). Narration uses a 'Voice this narration →' link that pre-fills the Text to Speech tool. Combine the visuals and audio in the Book Trailer Maker for a finished 15s clip.

What genres and tones does it support?

Genres: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Thriller, Horror, Drama, Comedy, Mystery, Adventure, Historical, Educational, or Any. Tones: Dark, Lighthearted, Hopeful, Melancholic, Adventurous, Whimsical, Gritty, or Any. Audiences: Kids, Teens, Adults, or Any.

Can I generate stories in other languages?

Yes — 10 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Russian. Both the 5 ideas and the 15-second scenario are written in the language you pick.

Are my prompts private?

Yes. The Gemma 4 model runs inside your browser when WebGPU is available, so your prompt never leaves your device. On older devices, prompts are sent to our encrypted endpoint with no logging of prompt content.

Can I use the stories commercially?

Yes. The output is yours. The AI produces story ideas, not reproductions of any existing copyrighted work — but as with anything AI-generated, give the result a human read before publishing.
