Frequently Asked Questions
How do I rotate a single page?
Click its thumbnail in the grid. Each click rotates another 90° clockwise. The angle shown under the thumbnail updates live.
Can I rotate every page at once?
Yes — the "Rotate all 90°" and "Flip all 180°" buttons apply to every page. You can still tap individual pages afterward for further adjustments.
Does this re-render the PDF?
No. Rotation metadata is applied to each page — file size stays nearly identical and no quality is lost.
What about large PDFs?
Thumbnails render progressively via pdf.js. A 200-page PDF takes ~5-15s to render thumbnails on a laptop. Rotation itself is near-instant.
Is my PDF uploaded?
Never. Rendering uses pdf.js and rotation uses pdf-lib — both run entirely in your browser.
